What is the capacitor type speaker?
Two kinds of capacitor type speakers
It is called the electrostatic type speaker by using electrostatic power with the capacitor type speaker with the speaker that drives the vibration board.
When the opposite direct current voltage is applied, the pole attracts two vibration boards mutually as shown in figure each other. On the other hand, it is a firm material, and a thin, soft material (vibration board) as for the other. It functions as a vibration board of the speaker when the voice current from the amplifier is thrown here.
Because an extremely thin, big width of swinging cannot be taken, a fixed board and the vibration wooden floor can be used only as a tweeter though are called this form a single type.
In an actual capacitor speaker, the one of the type that the vibration board is placed between two fixed poles is main current like photograph 2. This method is called a push-pull type, and use becomes possible as a full cooking stove subwoofer because it can take the width of swinging with bigger here.
Advantage disadvantage
The advantage
- Because the signal is uniformly transmitted to the entire vibration board, the division vibration is not done easily.
- The transition characteristic is good.
The disadvantage
- The direct voltage for [nakyoku] is necessary.
- It is unsuitable to [ooidechikara].
- The directivity is sharp.
Manufacturer on the market
It is hardly now, and QUAD of Britain ([kuo;-do]) is the most famous though a lot of capacitor type speakers seem to have been marketed in old times as the type of leaving untouched speaker. It seemed to have become a manufacturer only for the headphone now though STAX of Japan also had put out a lot of type of leaving untouched capacitor type speakers in old times.
