Q value : with Q0 and Q 0.
Q is a value in which the degree of the (Quality factor) resonance is shown. Be that "The value of Q is low" shows the quick control of the resonance, and the quick stop, and "Q value is high" that the resonance continues long oppositely. In Q value, because [taori] of the sound is good, low is general good [mareru]. However, it is not the one of goodness or more lower either.

It is an important value in which the low-frequency performance that Q0 (Q 0) is a constant that shows the degree of the resonance in lowest resonance frequency f0 of the speaker, and is the framework of the speaker enclosure is decided. You may think this to be Q0 by thinking about the Q0 value for an overseas unit though there is the one to write the total as Qts because of Qms (mechanical resonance) and Qes (electric resonance), too.
Q0(Qts) rises when putting it in the enclosure, and calls the value Q0c(Qtc). Generally, the value of Q0c is a characteristic with smooth time of 0.7-0.8. It is said that it becomes low region shortage when it is [bontsuki], and Q < 0.8 when it is Q > 0.7. When the speaker system is designed in a word, it is necessary to think about the design of the box in expectation of the value of Q0 of the unit and the rise of the enclosure.
By the way, the violin etc. might become it near [i] 30 Kon though the speaker enclosure designs Qtc and about one is designed from 0.7 usually. This is a big disagreeing of the speaker that controls musical instruments and the resonances that the sound is emitted by using the resonance (It is few) and emits the sound.
The reason for backing loading horn type speaker is that the rise of this that uses the unit with generally extremely low Q value (For instance, the Q0 value of the unit only for the backing loading that is called FE208ES is only 0.1) in the vicinity of the low region resonance with the horn is large. Value..high..unit..use..region..resonance..near..mountain..do..so-called..lucky..characteristic..become.
The unit with high Q value is comparatively used oppositely in the speaker of a plane [bafuru] method. It is because of becoming low region shortage when the unit of a low Q value is used because this cannot differ from the backing loading and expect it except that rising effect of a low region releases the denial of a low region by [bafuru].
