What is the plane type speaker?
What is the plane type speaker?
It is a speaker unit using a plane vibration board. It is possible to divide into two kinds of the one that one flat vibration board at all was used and what puts the load material in the hollow part of the corn type unit and makes to the plane roughly. The subwoofer installed in 700,800 series of B&W belongs to the latter.
A plane board also has not only the circle like corn but also the square one. A large-scale plane version speaker divides driving point into not one but plurals, and there is the one to do the device that prevents the division vibration, too.
All a plane type speakers are thought to be this plane type besides being used for a part of the subwoofer of the [ugoden] type speaker as electrostatic type (capacitor type) speaker is basic.
Why is the plane excellent?
In the cone type speaker, it is not avoiding (This is called the cavity effect and the effect of the cave) that the phase lag arises because there is a difference in the distance in the central cap part and the edge part and the tone of the trait attaches. Why it able to become a main current?
It is the largest not to obtain this strength by the plane though the most important one for the corn paper in the paragraph of the corn type speaker was described that strength. The division vibration is caused because strength necessary for the vibration board is not obtained by a low frequency, and the ideal one that the piston vibrates to a high band in phase has not appeared yet.
